My Way by MBME
Everyone communicates, processes information and manages work differently. My Way gives you a simple, personal way to tell MBME what helps you feel informed, comfortable and able to make progress.
Example My Way profile
This preview explains the idea. It is not a public form and does not collect sensitive information.
Written summary after calls, with direct next steps.
Agenda in advance and one main topic at a time.
Short overview first, then detail when needed.
Prioritised action list with clear deadlines.
Unexpected changes without context where possible.
Pause, summarise and identify one immediate next action.
Important privacy boundary
The public site explains My Way and gives you a contact route. Sensitive support passport details should only be handled through an appropriate secure process.
What is My Way?
My Way records the practical preferences you want MBME to understand. Instead of explaining the same needs before every meeting or interaction, you can choose to tell us once and update your preferences whenever necessary.
What can it cover?
These examples are not requirements. They show the types of practical preferences My Way can help communicate.
Email, telephone, messages or video, plus direct or softer language and written follow-up.
Short summaries, detailed explanations, step-by-step information, visual examples and processing time.
Agenda in advance, camera preferences, shorter meetings, breaks, one topic at a time and written actions.
Colours, sounds, background movement, lighting and visual triggers during video calls.
Reminder frequency, clear deadlines, smaller task stages and prioritised action lists.
Pause and summarise, reduce decisions, move information into writing or identify one immediate next action.
How it works
Step 1
Only include the information you are comfortable providing.
Step 2
Your chosen support preferences are kept together in one clear place.
Step 3
Relevant preferences can be reviewed before meetings, calls and project work.
Step 4
You can update, remove or change preferences as your needs change.
Who is it for?
My Way can support people with a formal diagnosis, people awaiting assessment, people who self-identify as neurodivergent, people with accessibility preferences and anyone who works better in a particular way.
Privacy and control
MBME is committed to handling personal information carefully and transparently. The exact process is explained in the privacy notice.
